Nancy B Blake & Joe Clark

Nancy and Joe.jpg

Joe and Nancy are beginning to collaborate on many of their projects.  Joe has started to design quilts and is beginning to quilt using a longarm.  Nancy has started to embellish Joe’s pottery with beads and hand-drawn designs on his thrown pieces.  They have done multiple silk-screened projects together and they are excited to think about what comes next.

My grandmother gave me my first sewing machine at the age of 11. I have been inspired by and passionate about color, texture, design, and creativity ever since. Art and creativity are at the core of all aspects of my life. I have shared knowledge and experience through education and coordination of artistic experiences over the years for people of all ages.

My passion for art runs deep! From teaching art for 30 years in the public schools, to working as the Art Director for the Alexander House in Port Edwards for over a decade, and with over 40 years of experience in various forms of the ceramic arts.
